A Daily Walk With DietPower

Walking is the best exercise for weight loss. And the things you see!

Barbershop quartet

I spent most of this afternoon delivering singing valentines with Rare Occasion, a barbershop quartet with whom I sing bass. Here we are with one of the recipients, a seamstress named Libby. Because Libby is a native of Czechoslovakia, we decided to substitute Czechoslovakian for Irish in "My Wild Irish Rose." The effect was hilarious. Singers, left to right, are Jim Hopper, baritone; yours truly; Robert Goldenbock, lead; and Fred Baran, tenor. .

I carry a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TX5 pocket camera with a Leica 10x optical zoom lens. My object is to make an interesting photograph of at least one thing that is different that day. I post the results here, hoping they will inspire you and your friends to walk, too.  Terry Dunkle, DietPower founder and CEO.
